About Me

In a Ngada village near Bajawa

Passionate independent traveler, amateur photographer and nature lover from Switzerland. Always close to locals, traveling with an open and anthropological mindset. In 2012, I spent two months in Senegal for my master thesis in social issues of the environment, doing a socio-anthropological study within a rural community to document a waste water reuse project. Then I spent three months in the jungle of Misiones, North-East Argentina, where I took an internship in sustainable community living, permaculture and natural building. Not to forget a short but awesome hitchhiking trip in Quebec, my other home country where I used to live six years, in Montreal. My new challenge in 2014 was to travel four months in Indonesia, a totally unexpected thus wonderful backpacking journey which happened after a sailing from Singapore to New Zealand project has failed, while I was already traveling in Indonesia. For the moment, I am back in Switzerland, open to new beautiful opportunities of life which will cross my path. I might not travel for some time, but I know I will grab my backpack and go back on the road sooner or later.
